LEARNING HOW TO BE A "DOER" OF GOD'S WORD As part of “40 Days In The Word,” we’ll be participating in a Micah 6:8 Project. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 NKJV Our project will be supporting and serving CRITTENTON SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES at three events in March. Location #1: Valley View Campus – Friday, March 16th Karaoke Talent Show/Party from 7-9 pm (Approximately 25 girls; average age around 16. Some will have babies.) Needs for this party:  Cupcakes (undecorated)  Decorations for Cupcakes – St. Patrick’s Day Theme  Beverages  Prizes Karaoke Machine Location #2: Spirit House - Chapman Ave- Friday, March 16th Cooking Class - Time To Be Announced (Class is for Spanish-speaking girls; slightly younger than 16) Cooking class will be interactive. Limited to six volunteers due to the facility. Needs for this party to be announced Location #3: Harbor Campus - Saturday, March 17th Play Sports (for youth 14 and older) Times and more details coming next week. All youth must have a parental signed form. These will be available at the training... All youth must attend. Our training session will be Friday, March 2nd, 6:30 pm at CLC and last approximately two hours. Training is required for all who plan to participate! For ALL Volunteers: You must wear closed-toe shoes and no dangling jewelry. NO sick people. If you are sick, please do not come.
